After school this morning, T2, her friend K and I played with the button collection. Scooping. Pouring. Stirring. oh, and of course examining the buttons.
I used to do this kind of stuff *all* the time with my first born. We had cut Mardi Gras beads for grabbing, beans for sorting, felt boards for decorating... all sorts of preschool fun. I've forgotten about them after child #2 and #3 came along and days got busy. Thank you for the reminder. Now to hunt for some buttons....
I love your site! I found you through the Crafty Crow and we tried your shredded paper idea this morning. It was a great hit! I have added you to my bookmarks and am looking forward to see what other great ideas you have. Please check out my site www.hearthstonehouse.net

Another great idea! There is something so satisfying about being able to handle so many beautiful and different buttons.
