More MOM Time
More Mom time doesn't only apply to being a Mom. Although I am trying to give more of myself to my kids, I am also trying to give more of myself to myself and have been working on some projects. One - a skirt for T2 is complete but the quilt for my itty bitty Niece still needs some work. I've never made a quilt before but I'm pretty pleased with it so far.

I've seen that skirt fabric before and love it -- never imagined it as a skirt. It's adorable!! Not much good to me as the mother of a little boy, but maybe someday. :)
That fabric is everywhere! I love it and T2 loves her twirly skirt!
what a sweet skirt I am now just learning to sew not quite up to skits yet but getting there. The quilt is so bright and pretty looks fabulous.
Did you use a pattern for the skirt or did you just wing it? I have three girls and am a beginning sewer so I'm curious...
I didn't use a pattern. I'm not very good at following patterns : )
